like you said i'm guessing first molding makes these hoods as they do the J's hoods..its all good..let me know about this hood..i'm curious now about this hood...the large vents could provide some great ventilation

the seibon TSII hood is a knock off of the weber sports hood.
as far as this one, I kinda like it... I like the fact there is no hump for the intake... and once it's painted, it's not like a difference in weave is going to mean a whole lot...

Yeah it's a knockoff of the Top Secret hood, not the Weber Sports one (on the WS hood the vents are closer together to make the illusion of a ridge between them).
First, remember that the real Top Secret hood has removable underpanels with it so that when it rains the water doesn't soak your engine compartment.
Second, this hood will not clear either of those intakes since it doesn't have the hump for the intake.

top secret also does not have a raised area around the vents... and the WS actually does have a ridge between the vents... I sold mine to Chiung, I should look for some pics of it on his car...
this hood is a partially original design... they took the voltex (J's, Mugen) design and erased the hump for the intake, and made the vents a little wider...

Ahhh I see what you mean -- sorry that's why I shouldn't post after I go out
I do stand by my other two points though -- it won't clear the intakes and I would definately check before buying a pseudo-knockoff that it has something with the hood to prevent water from draining into your engine compartment. good luck

How do you know it doesn't clear J's intake? A OEM hood doesn't have a hump but you can but away some of the metal and it will clear. How do you know this hood does have a thin spot where the intake would be?
