Thumbs up Driveshaft Spacers

I've got my new wheels + tires in this week, and should have TEIN Flex's in by the end of the week as well. Before I throw the whole lot of em on, I need to get me some driveshaft spacers, correct? If so, what's the difference from one brand to the next? I mean, besides the obvious like sticker price, the name on the box, and what color they're anodized...
Looking to order them as needed ASAP, so I'd love some input.
And for what its worth, the car is 100% stock at the moment, so on the note of "do I need these to install my coils + drop my car" - if there's anything else I 'need' for doing it, please chime in

No. Search...this question comes up weekly. There are cheaper solutions if you have the mechanical skill and if the vibration appears that's common with lowering an older s2k.

Do some research. It's not cut and dried. There is a big question as to whether or not these help to retain reliability with a drop. I would try the drop first w/o them. If you have vibrations from the rear after the drop, you might consider them.

Biggest difference is width. Some are 7.5 mm wide, others are 10 mm wide. Next difference is one-piece or split-rings. The split rings are easier to install, but weaker. Buy some very high quality bolts for these if you choose to install any of them. That seems to be the weak point on all of them. Get aircraft grade 8 bolts or better.

Weaker? T1R has a race set that they make and use on their track car, and it's a two-piece setup. I don't think the one-piece vs. two-piece makes any practical difference on strength or reliability.

Yeah, I apologize about coming across as if I hadn't searched before, I'd searched for driveshaft, and I'd searched for spacers, but I never actually combined the terms @_@ which is totally my bad. I found some great info afterwards, and have indeed decided to go ahead and drop my car and see what happens, and I plan on servicing my tranny + diff (wish I were uprating my final drive already though) and will do this as needed at that time.

Also, yeah, I definitely didn't think there would be a quality or structural difference between 1-2pc spacers. I hadn't read anything about that in the other threads.. O_o but I'll remember to look into the uprated bolts if I end up doing these

Hm, maybe after this next week is up I might be seeking some, I currently already have a small pile of new parts that need installing + gotta knock out some bills this week. If you still have em afterwards, I just might take em off your hands
