damn, well i guess im gonna have the painter just tape around the molding/weather stripping when painting then.
to remove the mugen rear lexan window, simply undo the rubber/weather strip from the inside. its that simple.
to re-install, you'll need the rope that came with the hardtop.
the re-install is pretty easy, you'll need 2 people for the install.
if this is your first time installing the window....its kinda tricky...so take your time.

I think you just need to lift the weather stripping and pop the thing out from the inside.. I'm not quite sure how the bodyshop removed mine, but it wasn't their first time. (they have painted a few other local mugen tops as well). I was there to watch the reinstallation of the top though. They used the uber JDM Mugen string that comes with the hardtop in order to compress the weather stripping and put the window back in.

no, you can do it with thick string. it does require two people to reinstall however.. getting it out is easy, jut pull the lip back on the inside and apply some pressure to that area, it will start to push out and then just work your way around . very easy, and since the window is flexible it shouldn't be that easy to break.

...oh, and if you break it, King Motorsports sells a replacement window kit for around $400.
