hey i need help from those guys that are running the spoon bumper. i need some sujestions on how to wire up my fog light harness and wireless unit. where did u put you box for the remote, and all the wiring? thanks for the help
ran the control box under the oem fuse box, and the rest is streight forward. i fished wires around the radiator fans, and under everything so you couldnt see a thing.
youl have to extend the orange wire into the cabin if you want to hook it up to the fuse pannel in the car under the dash, unless you directly tie it into the headlights.
the spoon harness is really a PITA, it could be so much more easier.
I put my wireless receiver under the Spoon oil catch can, however it will fit under the stock cruise control box. I also tapped directly to the parking lights and grounded with all the other grounds near the radiator support. Very simple install, doesn't get dirty, and no wires show at all when the coolant overflow tank is in place.

wheres the power wires then? their not long enough to reach the battery unless you add wire.
I'm guessing the fat wire on the spoon harness with the in line fuse is to be connected to battery positive (at the battery, for example), and the thin orange wire (also fused) connects to any positive. If you connect the orange wire to the parking lights circuit, the Spoon remote will only turn on the fog lights while the car's parking lights are on. And the Spoon fog lights will turn off automatically when the parking lights are turned off -- no remote necessary).
