Where do you live? Climate plays a role. Otherwise, one good tune should keep you for quite a while.

im averaging 23mpg when cruising on freeway..... and 5 gallons of 109 octane lasted a whole day of autox, at least 20 runs.

I'm confused about the lousy cruise mileage. Wide open, the lower restriction means more fuel and more power. But at cruise/pt throttle it should be using the 02 sensor.

I would like to get the hytec as well, but by the time I can afford it and get to a state other than Alaska for tuning, we'll have flying cars and no more gas staitions

as far as mpg being worse in my opinion thats totally worth it. Still getting better response & mpg than vehicles with more then twice the displacement
