I've been looking @ this exhaust for a while as well. I particularly like the weight advantage over other quite 70mm singles (ASM 70mm/T1R 70R EM) and the fact that its even quieter.

It seems from this dyno plot that it only makes about 6-7 whp less than the 70REM, and likely almost no torque loss if you factor in testpipe, which puts it about dead even w/ the 70mm ASM.

So from my understanding, the only interference this exhaust has with MY06+ is on this removable (easy to modify) cross member on the rear subframe?

The exhaust hits the tunnel. When people lower the exhaust using longer hangers enough to clear the tunnel the resonator hits the cross member and the cross member mounting bracket. If you don't already have one wait and buy the updated verson.

The current design can be made to work but is a pain to get right.

Yeah, that sounds a bit worse. So they are designing a new version specific to MY06+?

Great information. .

I have heard many different solutions for this problem. Anywhere from modifying the angle of the hangers, to the bends of the hangers, to rubber mounts. J's Racing is a good company and it is unfortunate to hear that their exhausts are not compatible with the 06+ AP2. How much did some of you spend modifying your titanium hangers, if you don't mind me asking.

I did not modify the ti. hangers. Where I said hanger I meant the rubber mounts.
