J's intake
ok, let me get this stright...
So,
when you buy J's intake... this is all that comes with the intake.
So...if you have Mugen SS bumper, you need to buy this also..
so what is this?
is this fit into your OEM airbox that connects to SS bumper?
thanks.

actually i would keep mugen with mugen, and j's with J's...
SS bumper is made for the version 2 or 3 (not sure if theirs 3 versions, but i know theirs 2) mugen intake...
the second picture of the j's intake you have works with their new J's ss aero kit...it should work with the mugen SS also...I do believe its made to fit in the stock airbox...
personally i would just get the mugen intake that if made for the SS front air duct...who wants to be running a snorkel with the stock airbox...i wouldn't...

J's work with Mugen SS and some say J's has better response than the Mugen intake.
about the snorkle... i was just wondering and also there is about 900 dollar price difference.

I believe that third intake is, as you theorized a duct that ducts air back from the opening in the bumper (J's, Mugen SS, probably Ings as well) to the stock air box
I wonder if there is a way to get the full J's intake with the shorter scoop isntead of buying both? Ben, Rich, can anyone chime in on whether that is possible?

Top picture is the J's Racing intake, used for any bumper, middle picture is to be used w/ J's Racing front bumper and I guess Mugen SS bumper or any other bumper with a scoop. Last picture is just a snorkle type for the OEM air box. Like the Spoon snorkle. Hope that helps
