J's Rear Bumper
Does any one know if either of these J's rear bumpers are available?
The pics are on the J's website, but I don't see them for sale. Doesn't one of them go with the "non-S" type body kit? http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...4/JsRear2a.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y26...4/JsRear1a.jpg -Pete :hello: |
They are stock with the holes cut out. THe bottom part is their CF diffuser. THe idea is to let trapped air flow out at speed. ASM sells a bumper like this.

Yeah, I like the ASM, but I'm trying to keep my dual exhaust setup.
The ASM bumper is only relieved for a single exhaust. -Pete :hello: |
I've also seen the J's S-type, but I like the larger vents on the above styles.

Yeah I remember Spoon also running those rear bumpers. OEM cutouts.

The Mugen is nice, but I don't think my exhaust tips would fit through the openings. :D

I made something similar to my S2k
It was not very heavy work, but the bumper had to be painted afterwards because of the cutting edge. I just inserted a black grille behind the bumper...now waiting for the diffuser to come in... http://www.honda-experience.ch/Membe...h/PICT4006.jpg http://www.honda-experience.ch/Membe...h/PICT3989.jpg http://www.honda-experience.ch/Membe...h/PICT3988.jpg http://www.honda-experience.ch/wbb2/...hment-1774.jpg |
