Ben, I have this thing on my intake and I'm curious because I don't see it on anyone else's intake. What is this and why is it on my intake? Do all you other guys have this but just put it somewhere else?

 

I have 3 of those plates. One came with my old Js intake, the second one came with my ETD kit, and the third came from the Js decal set I got from Bulletproof about 2 years ago. They tell you what number you got basically.

 

I got one with my intake too. It is just a serial number plate I would assume.

 

Cool, how come no one puts it on?

 

One is on my STB, Js catchcan, and new Js radiator if I ever get it. LOL

 

Darn, it seems Sam must of lost the one on his ETD.

i never got one with my J's N1 exhaust

 

These are the little tags that are signed and numbered by the person who checks it before shipping them out. They are quite new, in January when I was talking to Junichi, he said they started doing it about last summer when they were doing prototypes for their new products, so that it wouldn't be copied. They don't have it for every single product. But the most common ones I've seen with the tags are the intake, oil catch tank, exhaust, header, ecu, throttle body, and some ETD's have them and some don't.
