jdm headlight question
im thinking of picking up the jdm headlights
is it plug and play? doesnt the balast mount directly on the jdm headlights if not what needs to be done thanks -jacob |
yes, plug and play
|
isn't the beam pattern on JDM headlights opposite the US ones?
like the higher side of the cutoff is on the left (for illuminating japan road signs) and whatnot? just curious. |
:iagree: That's what I have always read about the JDM headlights...

I just confirmed with Mike who has JDM headlights on his car, the beam pattern is the opposite of USDM headlights.

this verifies that JDM headlights on US cars is a BAD idea. it will cause glare to drivers on the opposite side of the road, AND you won't be able to read street signs. |

you should just buy rick's diffusers and do the mod yourself. keep the beam pattern, and save like 800+ bucks

Yeah different sockets. You can adjust the headlight cant you so its lower than the passenger, right? I never had this problem with mine.
