I didn't do this particular mod to the S2K cuz I have a nagging feeling that the lights are too small, but looking at the picture, I'm sure the lens is engineered to produce enough light similar to the output of the rear brake lights, otherwise it won't past EU regulations as a OEM rear fog light.
Yes, both rear tail light assemblies are not JDM parts, but they are made in Japan and then exported to EU. The left side is for LHD cars while the right side is RHD cars. EU is the only market feasible to use them, hence it's not exactly a popular mod.
I did this mod on a CL9 and it came out pretty well, yes I lost the functionality of the reverse lights, in return I got an extra pair of full functional brake lights. So if this is what you're thinking about, it'd definitely have a unique look, and keep sleeping drivers behind you more awake with the increase brake light output, those rear fog light lens have an additional reflector and produce a higher intense light output in result.
I'll love to have the part numbers as well.
EU LHD side Honda P/N -
UK RHD side Honda P/N -

like i said, this mod will be more popular in the years to come when the s2000 becomes like how the civic and integra are now. I say, buy the tails, then keep them in storage and sell them for double what you bought them for in 5 years!!! They should be pretty rare by then since the s2k is going to be discontinued.

Could end up being one of those mods that everyone tries to copy...i don't have to though! lol Live in the UK!
Could try and source the part number for you?

True, it was just an idea I was toying with, I thought it was JDM, but since not I don't really have the appeal to do it anymore, I thought it would be a good way to have something rare to the ap2's but euro doesn't really sound all that cool and a japanese car oh well
