I have a brand new rear subframe that i want to mod, i have found the odd picture of some reinforcement plates welded on on to it. I was wondering if you know of any were i could buy these plates or get some better pic's so i can make them. The only pics i have are from the hyper rev book (opera performance/ ASM).

Which HyperRev do you have? In the 3rd S2000 one (Vol. 97, I think) they show exactly where to weld in the "rainforcement" plates. The plates themselves are dimpled steel or aluminum. So you gotta find someone who has the machine to do that.

Yes its the 97 one i have, how ever mine is in Japanese does the US book have English text and give a better description.

there actually is no US version. But when I was thumbing through it, I noticed that section and that the specific placement was circled in purple. I'm going to beg my Aunt to translate as much of this book as I can. I also work at a shop, so this will be a service I plan on offering to our customers in the future depending on how it works on my car. I'll post up an FAQ in the next few months on this.
