Just called to place my order for my Mugen Racing III Steering Wheel 350mm. And inquire about purchasing the Mugen S1r seats. To hear bad news for me that Mugen stop making them. Does anyone know if there's any truth to this? I can get them used but really wanted them new.

That is not surprising considering they came out with new Recaro Mugen seats, the MS series. When the S1R came out, the S1's were discontinued.

Also, many of the S2000 specific Mugen parts are being discontinued. The SS aero kit and coil cover are supposed to be discontinued now or very soon and i'm guessing all of the other s2000 parts will follow if they haven't already. Evasive told me they were trying to buy up the last SS front bumpers in stock in Japan...

Moral of the story: if you want anything Mugen, especially for the S2000, don't hesitate!

why do you want those Mugen seats? For 1400 per seat, you are able to get pole position red jersey which is much nicer than mugen S1R.

Damn!!! Yeah my plan was the SS front bumper, seats S1r, steering wheel, hartop, and wing. Guess I'm entering the game a bit late lol.

And those MS-R are dope!!!

Might just have to wait for my boy to get some new seats, so I can purchase his mugens S1R's. So I don't have to go back to the drawing board. And start saving my peanuts for the SS bumper.

You know!! I was looking at the red jersy recaros. But they don't go with the mugen theme. And IMO the Mugen S1R's are nicer.
