Another good choice is the ASM 70mm. It is probably the least loud of the 70mm exhausts.

I will introduce myself. My name is John and I have always been an "NA" or "ALL MOTOR" guy. Nothing sounds like a High Compression motor at 10,000 RPM's !!! I have done more with B series motors than with the F22's or F20's, but so far I am very pleased with the the mods and outcomes with my S

I will miss the other thread, there is a ton of great info hidden in it .

Current power mods are: K&N FIPK, Mugen 2.2l header, Berk test pipe, and ASM 70mm SS exhaust

Within the next couple of weeks I will be taking the car to a friends dyno and testing this set up with and without the cat to see how the powerbands compare and what happens to peak vs midrange power. I dont have any way to post pics, but I wil update the thread with the results .

I would also be curious to see how people feel about bigger tb's. Not ITB's but just a bigger diameter.

I remember reading lots of threads about power modifications and looking at dyno sheets. One thread kind of stood out in my mind and it was by someone named Dubai. He had dyno sheets comparing his mods on a MY 2000-01 and then moved them to a MY 2002-2003. The point of the thread was to show that the 2002-03 car made more power, probably due to the ecu.

The thing that struck me about the thread was (and I am not sure about the dyno used) he seemed to make more than most people with the same type of modification, but he had a spoon throttle body. Then, while following the thread about the BRP supercharger project, they found the throttle body to be a huge bottleneck and power went up considerably on the test car when a larger one was used.

Now I realize that FI can force far more air through the TB than NA, but just wondering if people who open up the breathing more than stock with I/H/E find that throttle body modification, either boring or aftermarket, yields positive results.

WIldcard, thanks for the offer, I will send you an email when I get home.

Im Frank.

Current mods are Amuse r1 basic / Amuse Header / J's Test pipe

I plan to get a Mugen CAI and AEM EMS to get me a baseline tune for my I/H/E setup. I never dyno'd my car stock, although I now wish I would have.

After this, once the funds are available im going Hayward 50mm ITB's.

Once the ITB's are up and running correctly, I will see how I feel about this setup and either build the head up on a stock block, or go stroker with a built head.

Names Criag, live in the UK.

Had the car a couple of weeks now and have settled on:

K&N drop in
Spoon N1 & Test Pipe

I want to keep the car NA for driveability and (hopefully) reliability, had to many problems with nissan skylines in the past.

probably going to go for the VAFC next, is this a realistic next step to make most of existing mods?

Hey all, I'm Erik. I have a MY00 with Invidia exhaust w/test pipe, AEM CAI, and an un-tuned VAFC II. I dyno'ed the car about a week ago and topped out at 195 rwhp, the tuners didn't think that I would get much gain from the VAFC II after looking at the A/F on the dyno chart. I don't want to put a lot more $$ into the car just to get HP but what do you guys/gals think I could do to get a few more HP out of my set up and a few more $$.
