There are some good headers out there.
J's still feels like the best one.
Some more on the Berk header, dyno and own buttdyno impressions am I wating on.

the temps and humidity on the Spoon dyno is a little concerning, nearly 10F temp difference.

if you only did one baseline and one other run it is hard to say.

10 deg F isn't going to affect the dyno that much, the density of the incoming air charge is going to be less, but not of the same magnitude of the hp loss shown on the dyno. I'd only attribute 1-2 hp loss at most due to the higher ambient temps.

3 dyno passes on both runs. The best run was kept for comparison.

DC Sports: 4-1 design. 45mm primaries. Widely regarded as the worst header for the s2k. s2ki members report horsepower losses. ~$400.
More Internet hearsay.

I made 6+hp in the mid range on mine. Nothing on the top end.

When I usually test things on the dyno, I don't go for the best run...I think if you do continuous runs back to back, until it reaches where you have a couple runs that are almost the same or at least very similar. That is where you should take the numbers. When dynoing for the "power pages" I saw that the ecu needs at least 3 full runs to compensate for either a new header or exhaust. Just my $.02.

I'll update with your testimony, but it'd be great to see a dyno of it

Roger, you're gonna dyno your RS-R header, right? I'll go in with you on some dyno time, and buy your header (if it makes power), if you want to go over to 2nr and get a dyno of where you are now w/ stock header, then the dc header, then the RS-R header...I'll split the dyno time with you....let me know.
