Roger, you're gonna dyno your RS-R header, right? I'll go in with you on some dyno time, and buy your header (if it makes power), if you want to go over to 2nr and get a dyno of where you are now w/ stock header, then the dc header, then the RS-R header...I'll split the dyno time with you....let me know.

Just got shipping info on my exhaust. Looks like it will be here on the 17th, so dyno day for the TacySports header is the 18th. Woot!

Here is the verdict:
TracySports header (2.2 liter version)
Fuji Legalis R exhuast
Max HP gain was 8.5@6050 rpm
Peak HP gain was 4@8400 rpm
Max TQ gain was 6.5@6800 rpm
Peak TQ gain was 4.5@ 6800 rpm
Strange dip at 6500, any ideas about this?
All of the guys at Autowave commented on how nice the welds and construction were on the Tracysports Header. However, the O2 sensor bung is in a bad location. We had to run the wires over the header and secure them with zip ties to a bracket. I have wrapped the wires with heat shielding to protect them, but this obviously bad location surprised me. To sum up the header, the mechanic (Michael) said, "Beautiful piece, but whoever put the bungs on it must have been smoking crack that day."
Overall, I am really pleased and the butt dyno says much better. Plus, it sounds incredible, love this exhaust.

Interesting...do you have the A/F plot? Was it consistant in every pull you made or is there just the one dyno pull? If it is consistantly there and not A/F related, then I would guess that there is a resonance point in the header that is causing a build up of backpressure at that rpm range.

More Internet hearsay.
I made 6+hp in the mid range on mine. Nothing on the top end.

the numbers are good on the tracy sports header. it is an odd little dip, maybe it can be tuned out with a vafc.
we've already forwarded the info to tracy sports about the location of the 02 sensor, i hope to have it fixed for future versions
