Official Aftermarket Header Discussion

When you guys talk about sequential pairing in a header, what are you referring to? I assumed it meant that the pistons would be paired together in the tri-y so that the first collector would get an evenly spaced exhaust pulse (pulse, space, pulse, space), then the second collector would pair up the offset pulses to get an even distribution of 4 pulses every other rotation. However, now that I look at the oem header, and most aftermarket headers, they do seem to be that way (cylinder 1 paired with 4, and 2 paired with 3).
I did see someone refer to a header as sequential that had cylinder 1 paired with 3, and 2 paired with 4, but that pairing seems stupid since the firing order is 1-3-4-2.

Since no one has any info on the 5Zigen I found this. This comes after an exhaust so you don't know what it would do by itself.
