I wish ASM prices would go down, I happen to like their parts a lot...and even though we represent them in the US, their parts dont sell much obviously.
ASM's core sales are to race teams in Japan. They are not in it to sell a ton of parts, they are a small race division of Autobacs and their primary goal is to kick ass at the track.
Wishing and waiting for ASM to lower their prices is unfortunately a lost cause. I dont see it ever happening.

Thats the way I see it.
ASM/amuse, they are just a group of fellas who wanna push their cars quick as one of their hobbies. They dont really care to sell large volumn of parts for solo business purpose.
On the other hand, J's made their time attack car the fastest so they can mass produce their generic parts and sell them to the public to make money. Thats business.
The reason why ASM charges so much IMO is because they were never planning to mass produce their parts to the public to make $$$. If you contact ASM to order some parts, normally they will have to make them to sell...I highly doublt that is the same senario for J's racing. Also on the ASM site, they have an used part section where shop owners can exchange/sell their used parts.
my worthless .02

Xplosiv, I agree. My only addition is that J's isnt so great with stocking their parts either. I often wait a long time to get my orders fuliflled by them. But absolutely, they run their business more like a proper business than ASM or Amuse does.
