which set of cams to go with?

$2,700 might be worth it IF I could see what they do alone to a stock car. Preferably verified by a couple buyers dyno sheets and not just one from Hytech.
If there were a few people saying "I bought the Hytech cams, (and maybe header) and here are my before and after dynos. I love it!" then I would take the plunge.
But when this stuff gets mixed into a sheet (no offense Mines, its an impressive graph) where someone has several other pieces like ITB's and EMS, (two pieces that do not appeal to me) then I can not judge what does what. I'd do emanage, but once you start to add EMS, ITB's on top of the price for cams, it gets much more expensive than off the shelf FI. NA is cool at those power levels, I just don't wanna spend $7000 for 50-60 hp. If I decide to spend that much to stay NA it will be with an Elise.

Not everything is in the dyno sheets.

IMO Leave the stock ones in. You could make more power but how much more for how much money. I guess thats one of the Downsides to the S2000's valveTrain, being that its pretty much at its peak stock.

If you start doing cost/hp analysis on NA verus FI you will quickly see that FI wins everytime without fail and by a wide margin.

I am sure there is somebody, I just have not looked hard enough to find one yet.

As far as peak numbers are concerned aboslutely. You are right about everything not showing up on the dyno. That is where an NA setup like mine shines. My engine is vastly more responsive then any turbo or supercharged setup could ever dream of. Think 1000cc sport bike engine acceleration.

That dyno that was produced is suspect. I just can't believe that it's just a cam setup. what was teh intake and exhaust situation...
Or was it with ITBs already?
