Default T1R Exhaust Color

I like the T1R exhaust except the blue tip, its just a thought...but has anyone seen or heard of powercoating or painting the exhaust? I think a flat black exhaust might look pretty coo with a finished tip

iirc, some guy had a amuse dual and he didn't like the blue tips so he decided to sand it down or something. you could do that.

The coloring is just oxidation on the ti, so it will come off.

On the SS version, the tip is just riveted on. If you're handy with fabrication (or know a shop who is) you could probably put a similarly sized tip of your choosing on there without too much difficulty.
I have no knowledge of this actually being done, and wouldn't do it myself (I like the tip), so YMMV

sanding would probably scratch the shit out of the tip though. but it would work.

...but it'll just turn back to the blue over time if you sand it. Ti is Ti.

OP never said titanium, if your talking stainless you could take 2000grit paper and sand it til the blue is gone then put some polish on it. I think it looks cool myself.

True, but he did say T1R. I could be wrong, but I thought all the SS T1R exhausts had the Ti tip...
