[QUOTE=TB,Aug 14 2007, 12:36 PM] ...but it'll just turn back to the blue over time if you sand it.

Maybe it depends on the car, or maybe your exhaust is too restrictive to get hot enough. Either way, I've seen people's all-Ti exhausts turn bluer over time. So I guess YMMV.

To the OP (who probably isnt paying attention anymore), if you dont want the blue and want to be sure it will stay gone, any exhaust shop can cut off the Ti tip and reweld anything you'd like back on for not very much money.

if you take it to the track it will turn blue, DD will never get it that hot if you sand it down.

it wont turn blue agin after being sanded down , its all the way at the back , the temps aren't as high as the header....

i have the Greddy TiC exhaust , its SS with Ti tips and the tip of the Ti tip is still blue but the rest of the tip has actually started to turn the bronzy color the rest of the exhaust has turned
It all depends on the design of the exhaust. The J's Racing exhaust tips tend to turn blue over time, even with light driving; same with the Top Secret 60mm. The Amuse exhausts, however, seem to keep there original color from the factory... as well as the Tracy Sports systems.
