Default Titanium MUGEN exhaust

Hi guys,

I bought an AP2 from Austria a few days ago. The car got some modifications, among others a MUGEN exhaust.
Now I'm having a lot of trouble while registering the car here in Germany.

The road traffic office wants to see a document or a certificate for the exhaust.
Is there anything available? The language of the docs doesn't matter.

Best regards

What does the doc have to say? I am sure it came with some paperwork but not sure what they are looking for??

Wow, quick answer
I need a vehicle type approval, a technical component report or any other document that gives some information about the material the exhaust is made of, the loudness and so on.

Hm. I would hit up one of the vendors that carries mugen parts. Gotuning, Kingmotorsports may be able to help.

There should be a Jasma label on the exhaust which is kind of the Japanese equivalent for TÜV.
Maybe you will find some nice looking document on their website
JASMA 日本自動車スポーツマフラー協会|JA SMA認定マフラープレート

Thanks flanders,

I guess no one of the german TÜV has ever heared about JASMA. I can also find no documents on that page.
Can you tell me a little bit more about JASMA? It seems to be seperated in some standards ( A-002 - A035 ) and A-008 might be the german DEKRA standard if I'm right.

Is that Jasma plate maybe equal to an "e"-number?

Sorry I don't have any deeper knowledge, I think it's mostly sound levels they care about though.

where in germany? Do you want my old oem exhaust? But you would have to come and get it from Amsterdam... iam just putting on q300 in next few days and was going to throw it away as its not in a best state but it might be enough to pass and then you can put mugen back on, then you could find the documents before next year inspection
