But to sum it up for you... rumors are lightweight crank pulleys will destory your engine because you take off the stock Harmonic Balanced/Dampened crank pulley.
This is exactly why people are scared of using aftermarket crank pulleys, and that is definitely unfortunate. How many reports of engine failures have there been due to non-harmonic dampened pulleys? I feel like there are only a couple of cases, and I know there was a case of a Prelude that had this happen with Unorthodox Racing pulleys. The shop that diagnosed the case and initially made the claim of the pulley doing the damage, YEARS later said that the crank damage could have been due to incorrect installation... but all those years of saying that UR pulleys did the crank damage have spread throughout the internet and made all enthusiasts scared of using non-harmonic dampened pulleys.

Knowing most auto compaies they wouldn't put a piece on there like a harmonic balancer that wasn't at least somewhat necessary.

The Tracy Sports and Today are significantly lighter than T1R; T1R is significantly more affordable than Tracy or Toda. The Tracy Sports is the most expensive and also reduces the most rotational mass.

We do offer these products. Considering how uncommon/rare it is for people to buy a pulley kit, we do not stock them only because it is too much of a risk. There is another company called Arrows Japan that offers lightweight pulleys as well.

How do you torque down the crank pulley for the ones that don't have the hexagon socket like the stock and Tracy Sport ones?

search light weight pulley and you'll find answers to all your questions Mike.

but from my experience and others with acura TL on Acurazine... we've been running UR pulleys for a couple of years now.. and none reported back with failure of their engine.

However I can see the money for Toda pulleys used for better gains else where.
Thanks!

Like you said...the money spent on the pulleys is best spent elsewhere.
