Sorry, I'm not on S2ki much anymore...but I wanted to share this. If anyone here has anything to say to the Tanabe family, please post a comment on my blog. I'm sharing my blog with their family to show the impact Tanabe-shacho had around the world.

Hideki Tanabe was a long time friend of mine and I've been distributing his products for 8 years now.

I will not be able to reply here, so please dont ask anything of me. I'm trying to clear my schedule so that i can fly to Japan for the funeral.http://www.bespokeventures.com/blog/

I'm very sorry to hear this. Mr. Hideki had a great vision in his products and I'm just happy I was able to enjoy them. I hope his lineup continues on. He will be missed, especially after seeing him on the BMI videos.

My condolences to Tanabe's family and friends.

He will be missed by many who, like me, didn't know him but absolutely respected and were amazed by his work.
