If I recall correctly, it is basically and air horn and a filter enclosed in CF. The CF should reduce intake temps in theory. The air horn works the same as the air horns on ITBs.
Compared to the V2, you should get better throttle response. However, you can get the same effect with a gutted OEM air box.

The Top Fuel intake is going to choke you off at high-RPM. The flow velocity is way too high at higher engine speeds and you create turbulence at the TB opening.
