Default TUNING

I'm pretty sure this has been covered but I'm looking for some current info.
What kind of tuning are you guys using? standalone, piggy back? post up your thoughts...

For simple bolt-ons vafc is popular

Who uses the Power Enterprise Camcon? I put one on an 05 Toyota Camry before for a friend, and we dyno'd it for 15-16whp. The camcon can control Vtec engagement too. I haven't found too many opinions on here.

Emanage Ultimate. $600 +tune. Claims have been made of up to 30 hp, and 10% torque increase across the board. Finding a good tuner is the hard part.

eManage all the way. I had mine tuned by Giles of Holyroller Dyno (he came down to Atlanta to tune us S2kAtlanta guys) and it feels like a different car.

Definitely look into the eManage

Find a tuner and use the system he is most comfortable with and recommends.

I wish Giles was not quite as secretive. I would love get one of his tunes on my car, but am not willing to drive from MN to NH for it. If he had a map he was willing to sell or a locked password pretuned Emanage, I would buy it. But I don't think he likes that idea because he thinks others might sell his work, which I guess I understand.

I am trying to piece together what it is he is doing and it sounds like he is advancing timing, and perhaps using extra fuel to prevwent knock the way turbos are tuned. At least that is my guess because he is adamant it is a safe tune, does not run lean, leaning it is not how he extracts the power, and hinted in one thread that lean afrs were not best.

I am thinkning about FI, but if I could get an emanage tune as good as Giles are supposed to be, I go emanage, some 4.57's and call it a day.

Fuel at the bottom, timing at the top, but he doesn't change VTEC at all. My personal opinion is that you can do better.
