What's the "best" import mag?

There are so many import mags on the racks now:

-- Modified
-- Honda Tuning
-- Super Street
-- Import Tuner
-- Import Racer
-- Turbo

If you could only read one a month, which one would it be and why?

Personally, I like Modified's glossy paper stock and pictures. Plus, they've been featuring a lot of S2000's lately...which is always good. :)

BTW, I tried to post a poll, but that's not an option in this forum for some reason.

Ben has a column on JDM tuning in Modified Mag.

I prefer Super Street.

Some people however do not like the direction they are going with their editors.....

Of what you have listed, Import Tuner is the top of my list followed closely by modified. Honda Tuning is too specialized for me but what would you expect with a title like that? Same with turbo, I like to see some all-motor stuff. IMO Sport Compact Car usually gets my money. They cover all the bases even domestics so I can occasionally see an article on my other love (Ford Focus).

Super street editors could grow up a bit too.

I won't bite the hand that feeds, but I would suggest Turbo if your looking for only performance and tuning content that isn't watered down with models, etc... Modified is also a more "focused" magazine worth picking up... C16 is usually cool too

i read 2 per month - Sport Compact Car for the tech, Super Street for the car coverage - though slightly imature in their writing imo.

:iagree:
Sport compact seems like it is a bit less about super bling show cars and more about cars that work and are actually driven. Lots of good tech. Not as much selling out as some of the others. Also, the writing is a bit more mature as well.

Honda Tuning is my second choice. Good Honda stuff. Good content without too much fluff.

1.) SPORT COMPACT CAR (I have a subscription)
2.) HONDA TUNING ( I should subscribe, I buy this every month)
3.) MODIFIED (I pick up one of these every couple of months)

IMO- everything else sucks!

Modified Magazine...

this is by far the best magazine out there! it has some of the best JDM-tuning vechicles. super-thick, various events coverage, hot chicks, not at the point where it becomes a porno-book, like most of the other import magazine!? i use to read super-street all the time, but i think its fading...?

import tuner - i rather read the "adult book" haha...
turbo - too thin... for the same price!
honda tuning - it needs more content!

just my opinion*
