17x10 +70 is a rear S2000(and maybe NSX?) fitment. Surprised they went for that much too.

It's better to just go through the US distributors. Unless you have means to ship stuff from Japan on your own they can likely do it cheaper.

For the exhaust I went through my friend Anish at speed-freaks.net. He has always managed to get me whatever parts I ask for, even if it takes some extra work.

Someone like Streeter can either find room on a container or ship it by air depending on size. I am in the works of potentially getting something, but I look at the markup that some of these distributors are putting on these parts and I literally have a brain aneurysm.

The 17x10 +70's are discontinued by Volk I believe. Jin has them on his car.

Great wheel but pretty uncommon. It does seem like any of the more common Volk designs are pretty pricey on yahoo japan. If you find one of the older designs or something they can be cheaper. The CE's and others like it tend to have more bids as well so they are rarely cheaper.

So far so good on my experience with Jesse Streeter. He communicates quickly and I was quoted far below what I can get stuff for in the states. Plus he ships EMS, so 6 day shipping. Unfortunately the part I bought is on backorder lol!

He will give you wholesale and then he charges a commission but it's very reasonable and he clearly lays it all out.

So far so good!

Still so far so good- I should be hearing in 2-3 weeks when my seat is done. I'll keep everyone in the loop!

Bought a set of headlights using buyee.jp, they shipped quickly and the package arrived without damage 5 days after leaving their shop. The delay in the whole deal was the original seller shipping to their facility. For some reason, it took over a week to make it there. Other than that, I highly recommend them.

My seat shipped Friday Japan time, Thursday US - arrived today at the local post office, it gets picked up tomorrow.

So about 6 days with a weekend thrown in there, not bad!
