That really sucks.. My Citibank platinum instantly credited my account when I disputed a 3 month old charge.
I would go ahead and contact his local authorities, etc. and just try to make that jerk's life miserable in any way you can and whenever you have some spare time. I hate dishonest people.

jzr just contacted me and told me he didn't know I still hadn't received my money when he got the wheels. He said he will help where he can to get a resolution.
Citibank did credit my account but will not have a final answer on the account for 60 - 75 days. Paypal cancelled my account because I called my credit card company on them! I feel like I am on a soap opera...

I am very sorry to read about the abused trust in this thread. I wanted to let everyone know about a service I have used in the past to purchase expensive items online: Escrow.com, http://www.escrow.com/ . With this service your send your money to Escrow.com, they notify the seller that the money is safe and ready to be transmitted upon the safe (and promised condition) delivery of the product in question. ONLY after the purchaser receives the product and releases the money does the escrow company release the purchase price to the seller. If the purchaser is not happy with the condition of the items purchased, or the item never shows, the money is returned. I believe there is also dispute resolution available (?). Of course, a small fee is involved for making the transaction, but this is certainly better than loosing the balance of your purchase price because PayPal has a few very questionable business practices.
Sincerely good luck in retrieving your money.
I am in no way connected with Escrow.com, I'm simply a happy customer.
Regards,
James

That's why everyone should just buy locally if there is any doubt involved in the seller. I rather pay an extra $50 for something and come pick it up if I had to.

Try posting this in the Racing and Competition forum. You may actually find more people that know him there. Sorry to hear about this unfortunate predicament you are in.
