Default AZ Silverstone OEM Hardtop With Hardware SOLD!!

Name: Mike
Location: Phoenix Arizona
Item for sale: Silverstone Oem Hardtop With Oem Hardware
Item Price: SOLD!!
Contact: Pm or call/text (503) 568-2372

Hey everybody, up for sale is my Oem Hardtop. It comes complete with all oem attachment hardware including front Hardtop latches, Rear Hardtop latches (spikes) and rear catchers. It was originally New Formula Red but was professionally redone with ppg materials in Oem Silverstone code NH630M. The paint is near perfect and very clean, top has no damage at all and is one of the cleanest I've owned. Also have a Silverstone ap1 sitting next to it to show the great color match if needed. Overall it's in great shape.

Ive shipped 6-7 of these hardtops all over the United States with great success. They get shipped in custom built wood crates with plenty of packing materials and full coverage insurance for peace mind. Feel free to contact me with any questions. The following is a link to my feedback thread and the many happy customers. Thank you for your time!

$3500 for a repainted hardtop and it sold in less than a week. Like you said it was a "great deal." 4k is simply the going rate these days for good condition OE paint tops, it just takes a bit longer to find a buyer.

That's what I mean, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. If people would stop paying 4K for OEM tops the value would fall. You can get an OEM hardtop for any other car out there for a quarter of the s2000, it's stupid. That being said, I would pay $3500 for a clean one, I drove over an hour to buy a NFR red OEM top last week that was "new condition, never used" and it was obviously used AND abused when I saw it. Guy STILL wouldn't budge on price even after lying about the condition lol!

I think OEM hardtops for the S2000 will be worth $10,000 *someday.

Personally, I don't understand why most sellers here are asking almost full retail, plus shipping, plus Paypal fees for used products that may or may not be "like new". I'd rather buy from a reputable online store where there are no shipping charges or hidden "fees", where I can return it if needed, and I know it's actually new... This is great site for all the feedback and knowledge though, thanks.

I guess I should have asked why people would purchase used parts at or near full retail, especially when some are obviously used as Nfinitecc expressed above.
