I have one full set of S2000 fender badges that I have decided not to put on my car. I ordered them to replace the ones that the previous owner took off the car and decided not to use them. The full set includes 2 S's and 2 2000's. $45 shipped takes them.

my "s 2000" emblems have lost the black outline and indeed look really bad because of the previous owners overzealous waxing methods how do these things come off, i am interested

Very carefully. I didn't take mine off, the previous owner did. It appears that he used a screwdriver or something to pry them off. DO NOT DO IT THIS WAY. I have some deep gouges in the paint where he obviously screwed up trying to get the emblems off the paint.

My advice would be to soak the sticky backing in WD-40 or Goo Gone really well for about an hour and then pry them off with your fingers. Mine left a lot of sticky residue which took a lot of work to remove. The previous owner left that task for me to take car of.

I've found the best way is use some strong dental floss and move it back and forth from left to right. This is much easier on a hot day or using a heat gun.

I removed mine, and yes the glue was a real pain. I used an adhesive remover (3M) and dental floss. First I soaked them with the adhesive remover, and then "Cut" them with the Dental floss. Then I cleaned up the leftover adhesive with the adhesive remover and then waxed the area. It took about 2 hours from start to finish.

Get the adhesive wet with Goo Gone and it comes off easy.
