MidA - Recaro SPG Replica Seats (F1Spec)
Two carbon fiber bucket seats for for sale. Bought them, tried them out and can't get my wide hips to fit in between the leg bolsters. It's a shame because the seats are incredible everywhere else...
Details:
- (2) F1Spec Type 3 Seats (Recaro SPG Replicas)
- 100% Perfect Condition. (Test fitted and immediately removed).
- Black Carbon Fiber Construction
- Black Cloth Material
- Side Mount Brackets and Rails
I'd prefer a local buyer, but I'm not opposed to shipping them.
F1Spec list price is $400.00 per seat in addition to $100.00 shipping.
Asking for $750.00 shipped or $700.00 picked up in Charlottesville, Virginia.
PM me or call for details. (434) 806-4899

I'm a true 34" waist, 6'3", 205 pounds. None of this pants off the hips nonesense. Apparently my hip bones are just wider than can fit in these seats. I've heard of other 34" inchers fitting fine in the seat.
Shoulder width is perfect, as is back/lumber width. The only issue that I have with fitment is that my hips cant fit in between the bolsters...

I'd be willing to part them out separately, but only if I had two guaranteed buyers.
The seats are not side-specific. The bracket/slider that comes with the seat is generic as well. I had no intention of using this bracket system, as it places the seat at stock ride height. I bought a Taitec slider/bracket system from Science of Speed to get this puppy as low to the floorpan as possible. (The Taitec is the rail with the blue adjustment handles in the pictures).
I would sell the Taitec with one of the seats if someone is interested. It, of course, is also in 100% as new condition. I kind of jumped the gun when purchasing these seats and I definitely should have test fitted them somewhere. If I were any smaller...I would be out driving the car right now...
Wing and Infinity, give me a call on my cell tomorrow to discuss details. I'm off to a UVA med school party. (I'm an '05 VT engineering grad but I've been "adopted" by a few med students ). I have a kickball game at noon, so any time after that would be cool.
Thats right, adult kickball. It's EXACTLY as much fun as it sounds!!

The price for individual sale is half of the total sale price. I'll also be selling the Taitec rail for $235.00 if anyone is interested. (It places the seat as low as possible in the cabin).
