I picked this up used and have personally only put 50 miles on it. Only selling because I picked up a ASM shock tower bar and it doesnt fit with this intake....and im not selling the ASM piece so this is going. It is cut for STR autox prep since removing the radiator air guide is illegal as well as cutting the hood. There is NO lower snorkle!!!!
This will bolt in with no issues to worry about. Small scuff pictured by the manifold but no cracks.
This is for 00-05 models....im not sure what 06+ models need for this or if its possible to use on dbw cars.2016-02-10_07-36-23 by sillyboybmxer, on Flickr2016-02-10_07-36-11 by sillyboybmxer, on Flickr2016-02-10_07-36-30 by sillyboybmxer, on Flickr2016-02-10_07-36-36 by sillyboybmxer, on Flickr2016-02-10_07-36-43 by sillyboybmxer, on Flickr

You say there's no lower snorkel; I assume one is not needed; how much would it be though? I ask because I'm interested in purchasing this off of you and possibly sourcing the other piece later.

I cant image itd be more than 150. Lots of str autox giys probably have one laying around. I actually sold this one cheap not long ago. If you got one there would still be a gap where it was cut though. You are just not getting the "ram air" effect without it

Correct me if I'm wrong but you cut into the filter housing not the nozzle so a replacement nozzle would have nowhere to bolt onto?

The snorkle part bolts behind the bumper beam. You could essentially get another and bolt it up but there would be a 3 to 4 inch gap where my membership card is sitting. Or get a cooling plate that directs more air in.

It's been brought to my attention that dbw cars only need a cheap plug on the vacuum plug.
Wanna move this today! !
