Hi all,

I'm selling my cylinder head as I'm retiring from S2000 racing. The head was built by Endyn, then stripped and re-assembled by an engine builder in the U.K. Since re-assembly its covered about 30 hours and in excellent condition. It was removed in full running order and re-inspected a few weeks back before putting up for sale.

Some of you may have seen the issues I had with Urge on this engine - that was a main bearing failure diagnosed as likely crank imbalance. The head gasket leak I had was related to having to use a 1.1mm multi layer gasket due to compression mating it to the Darton block, and the liners don't like that sort of gasket. The head itself is spot on just doesn't work with my block / thick gasket.

The head thickness is 104.6mm and a new oem head is 104.95 to 105.05 so it's 0.35mm under a new one from where it has been skimmed. A spoon HG is 0.3mm, 0.45mm thinner than an oem one at 0.75mm so using an oem gasket on this head will effectively is like running a Spoon gasket on it in terms of compression.

Spec is as follows:

OEM cylinder head - welded pent roof chamber and machined to 89mm bore
CNC head work
Aero valve guides
Nitrided coated valves
Urge GT cams (these are actually Hytech and very very good cams)
Custom dual valve springs
Titanium retainers
Moonrock painted valve cover (couple of marks on it and has 2 holes drilled in the side where I mounted my vac block but these will be plugged)
J's Racing oil cap

The parts and work on this run over $5000.

Asking price is £2500 or $3000 and shipping is available.
