Alignment in Baltimore/DC area
Any reliable alignment shop in the Baltimore/DC area? My car is on Swift Spec R & Koni Yellow combo, about 1.25" lower than stock.
I'd like to get just about 1 more degree of camber front/back from the stock setting; nothing too crazy. I'm just trying to find an honest shop.. I went to NTB once - they tried to make me get a new set of front tires when they had only about 10 k miles. When I refused, they just stored my car for a day and lied to me that the alignment was done. Luckily, I was able to prove them wrong with the marks that were made on the locknuts by the previous mechanic who did the alignment. Unfortunately, the reliable mechanic moved to Cali, and now I'm trying to find a replacement (so far unsuccessful). Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jay |
I used LaScoula Motorsports last time. Good people. Bring the alignment settings you want (I brought them the UK spec).

NTB is the WORST. Every time I've ever been there I've left pissed off. It's always a surprise what they will screw up, but it's always something.

Artin at SportsCar Shop does alignments on S2000's often. He did one on my car before the Dragon and it handled great. He's wonderful at setting up alignments for your needs (whether more aggressive for track or for street). He is very honest and reliable as well. The shop is located in Sterling, VA, if that is not too far from you. It is worth the drive though -- many owners in the area can vouch for him.
You can text Artin directly at 571-426-8641 if you have any questions. He can also handle any of your mechanical needs. Otherwise, feel free to check out the IG page to see some of the work they do. @sportscar_shop Facebook Post Side note: He just finished restoring an Apex Blue CR and it's beautiful. You can check that out here if you ever need any sort of paint/body/restoration work. https://www.facebook.com/artin.karimian.7/media_set?set=a.1879751368969743.100008046948237&t ype=3 |

They service pretty much everything. I've taken the S there, my gf's accord, and my ridgeline. It's a small family owned business right on Liberty Road (26) heading up toward Eldersburg. Let them know that Evan with the s2000 sent you. They were super careful to not damage my new front end.
I will also vouch for Artin, though he is quite a bit further. |
