Criswell Honda - diagnostic fee
Took the S2k to Criswell Honda last night as the passenger seatbelt has stopped extending and should be covered under warranty. I got a sketchy vibe from the service person who basically told me they’d have to charge me $89 for a diagnostic to identify why the seatbelt isn’t working. He’s also never heard of a warranty on a seatbelt - limited, lifetime, or otherwise but was good about listing out all the fees etc. He’ll check on the warranty for me and get back to me.
FWIW - Herson’s doesn’t charge a diagnostic fee - which is required by Honda’s warranty, but the only requirement is a determination that it’s not serviceable.
Guess we wont be taking our Honda’s back to Criswell anytime soon.
