EVENT: Baltimore Grand Prix
Threads keep popping up from time to time with various topics about the Baltimore Grand Prix. Since I can't even find them all any more I guess let's get one going that can be the official event thread for it. So, without further adieu...

Who's going? Did you get GA or seats? Are you staying in Baltimore? Are you from out of town?
Because of the number of people going and friends inside and outside the S2Ki community staying together isn't likely to happen but I'd like to figure out a few times throughout the weekend where we can meet up. Any one interested in a kick-off dinner that Friday night? Other suggestions?

The Baltimore Grand Prix will be a spectacular three-day "festival of speed" in downtown Baltimore, taking place September 2-4, 2011. Although the race will be held on actual city streets, for one weekend this urban environment will be transformed into a world class racetrack with the best possible safety equipment and fan facilities.
How long is the race?
The proposed racetrack will be two miles and the IZOD IndyCar Series race would take approximately two hours to complete. Because it is a timed race, the number of laps and race distance will vary, but IZOD IndyCar Series race is expected to be between 80 and 100 laps, which would equate to 160 to 200 miles.

I don't have an S anymore 
but we are going, staying Thurs thru Sun with 3-day reserved seats in Turn 1 (Grandstand 7). Hotel res @ SpringHill Suites by Marriott.
