Mid-Atlantic's Best Driving Roads

Just got back from a trip up to northern va and while the roads in and around DC are terrible I found an amazing road near Dumfries.
Joplin Rd.
Scenery: 8
Curviness: 9
Road/Pavement Quality: 4
Police Presence: Low(5)
Traffic: Low(5)
Total Rating: 31
My GPS must have known I was in the S bc the road was made for it. Not only did it have all the curves you could ask for it was impossible for cops to be sitting on it. I was about 3 miles into the 10 mile stretch when I noticed a black BMW behind me. We both gunned it and had a great remaining 7 miles. I took most of the corners while he caught back up to me in the straights. There was also great elevation changes with some being the 4 wheel leaving the road type. When I got to 95 I had to get off the catch the interstate, slowed down and me and the BMW pay each other respect and went out seperate ways (ended up being some grey haired older guy). If you are in the area you need to find the Joplin,

There was a similar thread on a 370Z forum that I came across. I have done the "Baltimore County" route north of Baltimore, and it was a good time.

Oregon Ridge Park Sprint
Directions: From Falls Road in Baltimore County turn right on Ivy Hill Rd, drive north until you hit Beaver Dam Road. Turn Left. Beaver Dam Road turns into Cuba Road. Turn right onto Western Run Road. Bear left to turn onto Gerber Lane. Turn right onto Thornton Mill Road. Turn right onto Western Road. Stay on that until you hit Shawan Road. Now, go home.
