Default New Front Lip

Picked up a Rockstar Garage Gears Replica lip from a local guy. I find this to be the best looking lip for the AP1 bumper. Sorry about the bug parts.

Did you do your black seats like you mentioned way back when? If so, what black did you use? Was this the product because the link didn’t go anywhere now. https://www.leatherrepairkits.com/al...er-repair-kit/
I’m really interested in that because my driver side isn’t torn but could afford to be touched up.

I have not done my black seats, but the damage in the pics you posted should be well within the capabilities of the product I used. Check the link again...I clicked the link in your post and it took me right to the website.

Default Tampa Trip

Drove the car to Tampa, FL a couple weeks ago. Was a great trip and the car was surprisingly comfortable. I did have to get the wheels balanced when I got down there and it made the ride home so much better!

Here are a few shots in downtown Tampa:

Update Time:

Installed new Billman Motion GenX Timing Chain Tensioner (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/new-york...ead-iv-537578/)
Replaced serpentine belt auto-tensioner (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-un...e-belt-769113/)
^These 2 items have quieted down the engine bay considerably. No more chain rattle and I think the pulley on the tensioner was going bad.

Purchased a set of the Hendy 4 piece floormats in red. Nice items. (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-irela...agian-1073621/)

Replaced the ripped window moulding on the driver's side. (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-mo...lding-1085317/) - A note about the parts: the new items have a different look to them than the original AP1 items. More like a matte finish, almost like Plastidip. Still, its nice to not have the rubber piece flapping around anymore.

Restored the cowl plastic using this product:
Amazon Amazon
- It did a great job. Highly recommended for any grayed out plastic that should be black.

I have some damage to my driver's side fender and the front bumper cover. I am going to take the car to my body shop for an estimate and get them fixed.

I have a new set of Michelin PSS tires to go onto my AP2v1 wheels, but the wheels need reconditioning. I will be dropping them off for powdercoating and tire install. Pics to come.

I plan to swap out the transmission fluid this Spring, too. Summer is coming fast!

Wow! A year since I posted.

The car has been in Winter storage in a locker we found nearby the house. The wife's new MX-5 RF gets the garage for now. I'm jonesing to get the S out, but I know its "Too soon, Junior".

I still have to change the transmission fluid and I still have to get the wheels refinished and new tires mounted. I also have not gotten that estimate for the body work, either. New season, new opportunities.
