Default S2000 Rebuild at Sports Car Shop

Since I had to pretty quickly depart to California for a new job, my s2k with the blown engine had to stay behind.
Artin and I decided that he at the Sports Car Shop will get the car up and running again.

If anyone have seen the quality of work that Artin produced working on his car, they would understand why I had no issues leaving the car with him.
Will be posting pics and updates as we move along.

The plan forward so far is:

Stage1
Shave and paint engine bay
AC/Heater delete
AP2 engine
(This will get the car up and running)

Stage2
ITBS
Standalone engine management

What is the point of shaving the engine bay for a track car?

Mostly bling. But I have to say that working on the engine with wire tuck and cleaned up engine bay is easier and more satisfying.
