Thumbs up tires for winter?

as my car is not my DD but is the only car i have ( i have a work van). i will need to drive it throughout the winter. so i was just wondering if anyone had a rear set of tire they really like during the winter months in case of slippery conditons.. i mean if it snows i am def NOT taking the car out of the garage..

thanks guys

Then what are you worried about? If you are only driving it on clear days, all seasons would be fine.

You'll be fine. Dont over think it.

As for me, I always run summer tires during the winter and its fine. Plenty of Mid-A members im sure run summer tires still.

Would summer tires be fine during winter as long as its not snowing out? I mean they will come up to temperature eventually wont they?

i had goodyear eagle f1 all seasons that handled decently in the snow... just fine in the winter and handled well on summer days..

I upgraded to Summer's only... and i bought a daily driver...

i haven't driven in winter with summer tires yet.. but most people just buy a set of ap1s or whatever and throw on winter tires.. and have their other rims set with summers...
