Washington D.C. Photo Radar
As stated in the topic......
Does anybody have any experience with Washington D.C. photo radar?
If so, please shoot me a PM.

Got clocked by one of those not too long ago (after exiting the tunnel). They will send you the letter with the photo of your car after a month or something...If you have the time to go to court it is disputable and chances are you can have it dismissed.
Do a search on google for "fight photo radar ticket" there are a lot of ways to fight it. I simply paid the fine ($280.00) because I was too busy and did not have time.
Good Luck

I've seen them on 295, past the E. Capitol Street exit. Both Northbound & Southbound on the right shoulder. Sometimes as far south as near the Wilson Bridge.
I have a feeling that they would only take the picture if you're in the lane closest to the shoulder. So if you're in the middle or far lane, they MAY not get you, though don't quote me on that.
Anyone know about that stuff that you spray on your plate? How good is it? Does it really work against photo radar. I've heared AquaNet does the same thing.
I have a 3 step method I'd like to try to see if it works:
1 - Spray the plate w/ AquaNet or that Photo blocking stuff
2- get nylon washers that are angeled (or make some) and put them under the plate so that it is pointing downward a little (not enough to be noticed)
3 - use one of those clear covers that obscure the plate an an angle.
Has anyone tried anything like this?

All the DC locations:

I've read up about the spray and it sounds like it really works. The one company has a money back guarantee and only .5% of their entire clientele have ever exercised this guarantee. http://www.PhantomPlate.com
Here's an article about the technology:

This is considered a non-moving violation due to the fact that they cannot totally prove you were driving. Your insurance company hears nothing about it.
So I might just pay it even though it's $150.
I wanted to see if anyone has ever contested one of these.
