Default Wheel/Rim repair places in SoVA

I'm looking at buying a set of Volks where the previous owner has curb checked one of the rear wheels. It's the standard, rough curb-checking around the edge of the polished lip on the right rear wheel that we all have seen 1000x before, except that he's gotten a good 1/3rd of the radius of the wheel as opposed to a little nick here or there that I would normally just ignore.

Does anyone know of a good rim repair place here in the area and if so, round about what they charge? The price of fixing the wheel is going to play in to whether I pull the trigger on these wheels or not, so I'm trying to get quotes before I buy.

I've used Wheel and Rim Repair in the past. Had good results on repairing damage on one of my RE30s. The only downfall I had with them was the amount of time I had to wait for them to actually work on my wheel.

If you know where Stock or Modified Bodyworks is, they are just around the corner from them.

^^Thanks, I found that shop too. I think I'll give them a try. How long did it take them to do the repair, and if you don't mind how much did it cost?

Professional Rim Repair in Chesapeake is also a good place around here too. I always use them for mounting and balancing ($20) but having seen examples of their repairs I know they do good work, and are very friendly to deal with.

I think it costed me around $50, but that was just to fix curb rash on two wheels as I was having the whole set repainted to a different color. This was about four years ago, so prices may have increased.
