Default where to buy lexan in DC/Rockville area?

I need to replace a OEM hardtop window with lexan. I'd rather not pay $500 for the one sold by GT motoring although it looks nice. Does anyone know of a reputable business that sells lexan (polycarbonate) sheets in the DC or Rockville MD area?

Thanks!

They aren't local, but in the absence of any better option you could talk to SHIELDS.

Not in the area but they ship fast and have excellent customer service: http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/118/3567/=grmqwc I would check out "Scratch-Resistant Clear and Tinted Polycarbonate"

Just about any glass" business that deals with plate glass will also have several different grades of clear plastics(acrylic to plexiglass to Lexan) for use in screen doors/window replacements. You should be able to source it locally after making a few calls from the yellow pages.

Matt, I would suggest getting 2 pieces. Get a fairly thin and inexpensive piece to use as a template, then once you are satisfied with the shape and fitment, cut the "good" piece, shape/curve it and install. Call me as I've done a few and may have a tip or two to try.
