Default Question about some shops installs

Has anyone changed their final drive beore ? If so what shop did you go to and how well of a job did they do? Maybe let me also know how much you spent if you dont mind. Honda quoted me around 850. I want to shop around before I take it to them.

Thanks ,

Cameron

Is $850 what lee summit honda quoted you? or is that another honda dealership?

What I would do is ask for a reduced hourly rate if possible, usually lee summit honda is the cheapest to get work done at out of all of the dealerships, I would just try to haggle with the GM.

Yeah they quoted me that price which I thought was a bit much compare to what I have seen people pay, but I think I will go in and talk to the GM like you said and try to work out a price. I got the cash right now so hopefully they can work with me

I didn't say there wasn't anything cheaper - but you get what you pay for with him. End of story. You can trust that not only will he be working on your car with care, but he looks out for the car as if it's his own. You can't put a price on that.

If you want to be cheap, that's fine, it's your choice. But if you want the best Honda mechanic you can find anywhere in the midwest, go to Lee's Summit Honda and see Tim Herron.
