An opportunity to get short AMD?

from what i remember, in the past 2 years, AMD has aquired ATI and signed a deal with Dell (not doin so well) and there stock has been fallin steadily. i think its too risky to short them while they are trading near a 52 week low. especially since now oil seems to be dropping and overall things are going up.
