Default Bought BP the other day.

Bought some at $52.85, thinking about more. I like how oil bouced off $69 and made some headway today. I guess the dollar move had a little to do with it, but not much. I also think that the worst is over as far as our economy and that demand out of China will continue to grow.

Any thoughts?

I think it's a good investment. I put on 25 shares 6% ago,.. waiting for a little more give back to add. I think the market goes lower, BP along with it.

I sold it a few days ago for $54+ when oil hit $80 and rebought today at $52.18. Also bot nucor, AMT, FWLT and GE calls this morning when the S&P was down to 1089.

Yesterday I dot EZA for $52.17.

AMT I will hold, FWLT I will hold, BP and EZA I will trade.

Wow big money. Can't imagine trading such a hi beta stock.

$1.15 profit per share trade less any fees, you must be buying in at $50K allotments to make $1000? To me that is just too much risk vs reward.

I buy in 1000 share blocks or more usually in a really stable stock, when I like the technicals and the fundementals are there, plus BP has a big dividend that protects you from the downside. AMT was a 1000 share block too, the others were less.

I bought and sold BP again from $52.18 (yesterday) to $53.28 today. The dollar situation scared me a little.

EZA is at $53.30, a nice $1.13 in a day, I didn't sell it yet but maybe if I see $54 by tuesday I will; if not, maybe some covered calls with a $55 strike.

We are doing OK on the others except for FWLT, down a dime, but it should be OK, worse come to worse I will sell some covered calls and hold it for a while. Earnings were bad, but I don't think the chart is broken, maybe on monday we see $25 and just get out.
