Sorry if this idea has been done, but if not it would be AWESOME

What is a bunch of S2000 owners, put together a pot of money, to help fund other S2000 owners ventures. Of course it could not be too many people that have their money invested but a small group. Other S2000 owners could submit their ideas to the group and we would make a decision to fund or not fund. It could be S2000 related, it could be Non S2000 related. I think it would be a cool story behind it too, the love of cars and being able to begin your venture from your love of cars.

Any feedback. I for one would be in to Invest if someone had a great idea to pitch.
1. Partshelper - $10K - Not to one Investment but spread out over a few ideas, and if they go well, would be willing to put in more.

i would be interested as well. Willing to put in $10k-$50k depending on the ideas/security.

Depending on the idea and business plan(s), I've got $10k-$20k+ cash available.

I'd like to get to know some of the business owners/investors of s2ki as well. There's a lot of driving talent and business savvy on these forums.

hahaha. We now have some people willing to Invest $$, now we just need some great ideas to fund.

How about organizing national events sort of like the Honda Homecoming event or the latest CR homecoming event? It was something that required funding to set up but they also charged for admission, raffle tickets, etc...Plus the advertising/marketing aspects...

I would recommend trying to set up a 3rd Honda Homecoming! I know the one i went to set up by Backcracker was awesome and limited to 350 entrants which helped sell it out! It took some work with Honda and a lot of ppl were already asking when the next one will be. He said it was the last one unless someone else decided to set it up...It really was a neat event that included a drive on the Pacific Coast Highway and another drive through the canyons! Since that event there have been a lot of new vendors added to s2ki, that may want in also! BC was even able to get the chief engineer of the S2k-Mr. Shigero uehara-san to attend and sign our cars!
