Nope never been to Tennessee
I thought Ducmann996 was referring to emerging markets such as China, Brazil and India and other economies experiences rapid growth, didn't know he was referring to North Carolina and Tennessee as "emerging markets" in real estate.

Wow...alot of fancy words.

It's simple. make your money then pay yourself first and spend wisely.
Make savings automatic and always in mindset of acquiring assets not liabilities.
Cut off and cancel your credit cards and don't buy if you can't afford in cash.

Always live below your means!

This is how my father became a multi millionaire at age of 40. And I am going to do the same.

Work and investing. Making an average of 16% return a year over the last 3. I can deal with that.

Living debt free is a good strategy which I subscribe to however it's not an investment strategy. Simply acquiring "assets" doesn't make you rich. It has a lot to do with what assets you aquire. I know you think you are being profound but what you are saying is:

Live modestly
Don't acquire luxury debt
Save and invest your money wisely

which is good and all but we are more about the last one, investing your money wisely and discussing how you plan to do that. Putting your money in a savings account will not make you rich.

[QUOTE=nibble,Dec 13 2006, 10:47 AM] I'm sure everyone has different opinion, but I always thought real estate was way to go.
