Default Facebook IPO

Surprised not to see a thread about this already. Anybody hanging on to stocks as they continue to plummet this week?

My co-worker had an auto buy set and didn't update it in time. Bought quite a few shares at $42 on the first day... Glad I held out.

Facebook is using the IPO capitol to pursue other avenues - it was just announced "hired more than six “former Apple software and hardware engineers who worked on the iPhone, and one who worked on the iPad.” this plus there purchase of instagram and the rumored purchase of the opera browser points to another google in the making with more focus on profits than freeware and the built in user base to back it up.

I was stupid enough to buy on the first day. I had considered holding on until I'm in the black again, but this article is pretty spooky. Is it spooky enough to sell now, and take the loss? (I bought at $42)

Facebook stock price could be hit by torrent of new shares

Need some serious rethinking of you buying strategy if you even considered facebook a good buy. They have a shit ton of users but nothing else. Rueters had them at being worth only around 16 a share on opening day. Do a little research before you buy these overhyped crap stocks. Greedy, Greedy. Sell it now or later, doesn't matter. The money is already lost. Don't feel bad though, your only one of the million others who did the same thing.
